The community is an invaluable component of our company, and we are constantly expanding our contribution within the areas in which we operate. Many of our employees donate their time to support local charities and churches in varied events throughout the year. We have a Charitable Contribution matching program wherein EHL matches the contributions of their employees. EHL also supports a variety of local schools and youth sports programs as well as global contributions through the Paul Harris Fellowship.
In addition to those contributions, we founded the EHL Endowment Fund through the Kitsap Community Foundation. Our Giving Committee meets annually to determine which Kitsap Community Foundation candidates shall receive donations. Some examples of the organizations EHL has approved grants for include, the HIV AIDS Foundation, North Kitsap Canine Assisted Therapy Program, & StandUp For Kids.
Last but certainly not least, we also like to have fun while giving back. Annually we host a charity golf tournament in partnership with Fred Hill Materials to benefit the Kitsap Community Foundation. In the past four years we've donated over $73,000!
