Jason Mayer, CPCU, CIC, CRM joined EHL Insurance in 2004 as a Producer/ Partner. In addition to his production requirements, he serves as the brokerage risk manager. He is passionate about providing clients a long range & strategic plan that allows them to manage, mitigate and in some cases eliminate the risk they face.
Jason has over 16 years of experience in the insurance industry serving in underwriting, sales management, marketing, and risk management. As a Risk Manager, Jason has helped hundreds of business owner’s design and implement plans to protect their companies, people and profits utilizing a strategic and purposeful process. He is proud of his ability to seek out and truly understand the specific risks his clients face and provide solutions they can understand.
Prior to working at EHL as a risk manager, Jason spent 10 years at Safeco Insurance in commercial underwriting, sales management, and marketing. In sales management, Jason used his strong organizational and negotiating skills to help independent agencies prepare for the challenges and changes in the industry. Primary focus was on mergers and acquisition and consultative selling. Jason earned several Sales Leadership awards at Safeco including vision and business acumen.
Jason graduated from the University of Washington with a BA degree in business economics. He proudly earned his CPCU, CIC and CRM designations. He is currently completing his is ARM-P designation and hopes to begin an MBA program soon.
